Glasdrumman (meta)sedimentary rock outcrop

sketchfab

Low-grade metasedimentary rocks dating from the Silurian age, marking the closing of Iapetus, are a key feature of the Longford-Down Inlier in Ireland. Their characteristic NE-SW strike is typical for these formations. The rocks in this model match those found at Location 2 on MCG 3D's larger model available at https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/mourne-geology-coastal-processes-glasdrumman-83bb5841311f4111bb200500fd4a62b2. Notably, the actual area modeled is more closely aligned with Location 5 in that larger model.
