Glaedr, son of Nithring

So here is my second dragon creation. I know the order isn't logical, Thorn is on the cover of the second book, but I think Glaedr would be more fitting for Eldest. After all, he's the eldest and the second dragon we meet. I based this model entirely on the picture I provided earlier. To avoid confusion, I used the image I'm familiar with, not the one found on various other versions of Brisingr. I personally dislike that picture; it's an ugly depiction, full of optical illusions and mistakes if you take a closer look or try to create a 3D model from it. Despite its imperfections, I've made this design as accurate as possible. It doesn't perfectly match the screenshots, which were rendered with billions of faces and resulted in an enormous file size of 800MB. Nobody wants such a large file. When printed, you wouldn't even notice the details anyway. So, I simplified it for practicality. In my final version, I successfully combined the tentacle eyebrow features with the main body, unlike in the initial screenshots where they were separate and awkward-looking. You can already see differences between versions; initially, the beard was composed of interfering meshes that didn't look bad at first but might not have printed well, so I created a new one. I'll upload updated screenshots when I feel like it. It's been challenging to reduce the number of faces from 1 billion to just 150,000 (or around there; I'm not certain about the exact numbers). I hope you enjoy this dragon, and next up will be Thorn. If you like this one, you'll also appreciate Saphira Bjarstkular: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1470976
