<p>I wanted a simple short sword.&nbsp;<br>This fits the bill.&nbsp;<br>It's comfortable and feels nice in the hand.&nbsp;<br>I have only printed the handle, I plan to make the blade from a piece of maple.&nbsp;<br>(I'll post photos later :)<br><br>if any other ambitious individual wants to get to it before me, have at it.&nbsp;</p><p>I have included a small easily printed piece (Gladius-BladeStencil) if you print this with no top and bottom fill and minimal infill, it will act as stencil you you know how to cut the tang to fit into the handle.&nbsp;<br>then just glue and run a wood screw up the pommel.&nbsp;<br><br>FYI: At this scale the blade is 13" long or so.&nbsp;<br><br>Enjoy!<br>&nbsp;</p>
