Glac Airigh Hordaig Shieling
sketchfab
In the north-eastern corner of Kildonan Glen, nestled between Beinn Coraraidh and Heabhal, lies a pivotal pass known as Glac Airigh Hordaig - the Glen of the Thumb's or Big Toe's Shieling. Situated adjacent to this scenic pass is a group of glacial erratic boulders that may be the source of the reference to a thumb or big toe. Amidst the dense heather surrounding the site, several stone groups are partially visible, although the thick undergrowth makes it challenging to confirm whether these are additional bothans. Notably, this site remains unrecorded on Canmore's database.
