GKC - Stem Holder for Garmin Edge Devices

This is a custom mount designed specifically for Garmin Edge devices. I created it originally for my Garmin Edge 520, but research indicates that the lock mechanism is essentially identical across all Edge models. It took me exactly 13 iterations to achieve a sufficiently "clicky" feel in the insert (although I'm still not entirely satisfied with this design aspect and may revisit it soon). UPDATE v2; 05/09/17 Following some rigorous testing, including mounting the device and taking several rides, I was thoroughly dissatisfied with both the top cap and the insert. The top cap showed noticeable deformation due to excessive tightening torque on the screw, which resulted in a poor fit of the insert. This outcome stemmed from my initial design strategy to minimize size and thickness. The insert lost its "clicky" feel remarkably quickly because of abrasive wear on the noses that held the Garmin device in place. I subsequently redesigned both components. The top cap now boasts an increased diameter and enhanced wall thickness, significantly reducing the risk of deformation. Conversely, the insert gained two additional noses that fit snugly into the half-rounded cutout found on the Garmin device itself. This redesign notably improved the "clicky" feel.
