GJ-Tho Portable - IIDX controller
thingiverse
So you want to make your own Beatmania IIDX controller... but you lack fancy tools like CNC, or have no woodworking skills... but you have a 3d printer? look no further... Introducing the GJ-Tho Portable! a fully (almost) 3D printable IIDX controller for use with IIDX style buttons. Featuring changeable control panels. 5 or 7 key. you can also flip it around to make it 2 player side. You can even make small distance adjustments. This design is for use with Sanwa or chinese clone buttons. The extra 3 buttons can be any 30mm arcadestick style buttons as you like (probably safest to go with snap-in style buttons) Print the parts in whatever colors you want! I do recommend using big build plate as possible and enclosed print environment to avoid warping. some of the bigger prints can be a little tricky. The split models are about 140x190mm so you should at least have a bed that are capable of printing about 200x200mm. Use a bigger nozzle for the Case parts to speed up the process. I made a Imgur gallery with description for assembly. It mainly covers the Turntable part. I may update it more later. https://imgur.com/a/8bi1PbH If you need some guidance how to aquire parts and firmware, this might be a good place to look: https://rhythm-cons.wiki/w/Main_Page You can also join the great community of Cons&Stuff on Discord https://discord.gg/fknwz8s Where you may also get in touch with me if you have any questions.
