Gizmos Box Insert
thingiverse
I printed Jehue's marble hopper from Thingiverse, and it turned out fantastic. You can see the Gizmos sign in the photo, but it still needs to be glued on. However, when I went to put everything together, nothing fit inside the box, so I had to come up with a solution - an insert. To make sure the insert matched the hopper perfectly, I decided to stick with Jehue's original colors: gray, white, and blue. Since I also needed a spacer for the row in the box where the hopper was going, that's included too. I also printed MrPearson's card holders from Thingiverse, which are great by the way. To make sure there was enough room for them in the insert, I made sure to leave some extra space. The insert is split into two parts, held together by pegs (you can choose to glue them or not). I also added a holder for the marble rings, which sits snugly inside the shallow circular inset on the insert. The marbles fit perfectly in the hopper or the other circular compartment I created in the other half of the insert. With a little space left over, I decided to add some compartments for the victory point tokens. This is my very first creation, and it was actually really fun! If you're a fan of Gizmos, I hope you enjoy this one too!
