The gizmacci in my 3D Printer Enclosure is a customizable vent that sits on the plexiglass casing, allowing hot air and fumes to escape through convection. Designed for a 2-inch hole, it can be installed using a new hole saw at slow speed. The spinning pin is made from a 3.0mm ABS filament section with ends "peened" using a soldering iron; clean the small hole with a 1/8" drill bit (slightly larger than 3.0mm). To bond ABS and Acrylic, use a strong adhesive like Devcon Home Plastic Welder or similar products for effective results.
