The gizmacci is a vital component for my 3D Printer Enclosure's door hinges. These hinges are attached using 3.0 mm ABS filament pins, which are secured by peening with a hot soldering iron. For cleaning the hinge holes, use a 1/8" drill bit, slightly larger than the ABS pin diameter. This design is meant for 1/8-inch thick plexi sheets. The door's hinges consist of two outer elements and one middle element, with the smooth sides touching for optimal performance. The faces that engage the plexi indicate the glue application area. To bond ABS and Acrylic, you'll need some advanced chemistry skills; I used Devcon Home Plastic Welder, but alternatives are available.
