I've been using the same travel mugs stored in my top case for years while riding to work, but two incidents occurred within a week that left me shaken - the lid popped open twice, spilling half a cup of coffee into my top case, where my laptop was also safely stored. I decided to take matters into my own hands and designed a custom cup holder that fits snugly into the slots of my top case, keeping my coffee cup stable and secure.
