####GIRO - TEVO Tarantula / 608 Ball Bearing X-Axis Idler#### ####General#### This idler is specifically designed for use on the X-Axis of the TEVO Tarantula, utilizing 608 ball bearings. It can also be used in other printers with a 4020 extrusion profile as an axis. If you know of any other printers where this idler would work, please let me know. The design separates the idler from its regular mounting option, which helps balance the carriage for Z-Movement. This idler works best when paired with the stock X-Carriage. However, it is not suitable for use with MGN12 linear rails because the GT2 Belt will rub against them. This design complements my 608 ball bearing Y-Axis idler, known as [GIRO - TEVO Tarantula / 608 Ball Bearing Y-Axis Idler][]. To mount this idler, you'll need additional screws and washers, which are listed below. **Additional screws and washers** 1x M3 screw with a hexagonic head (25mm or 30mm) 1x M3 Washer 1x M3 Nut 2x M4 screws 2x M4 Washers 2x 608 Ball Bearings ####History#### **Version 1.0** This was the initial design featuring a 44 teeth pulley and a first prototype bracket. ####Printing#### I recommend printing with two perimeters, using a slower speed (e.g., 30mm/s) for more accurate results.
