Giro Montaro visor screw
thingiverse
This is an M5 screw designed specifically to replace the visor screw in a Giro Montaro helmet, although it may also work well with other Giro helmets. To print this screw, position it on your print platform so that the head of the screw faces downwards. Once printed, use either a M5 tap or a M5 nut to create threads in the shaft of the screw. Alternatively, you can try directly screwing it into your helmet and see how it fits. I personally used a M5 tap to cut the threads in the shaft and found that it worked perfectly fine. However, I did notice that the screw is slightly loose, so if it falls out, I plan on trying to simply screw it into the helmet to see what happens. The SolidWorks file for this design has been included, allowing you to freely remix it as you see fit.
