I wanted to add a shield to my bike helmet, so I made a label holder. The SCAD file lets me adjust how big the brim is and how much it sticks out from the helmet. I tested it with an OHP sheet first, then cut out the shape from 3mm acetate. To get the curve just right, I used a heat gun to mold it in place. Now my visor keeps bugs away and acts like protective gear when I'm shopping during a pandemic.
