Sculpture of a girl with a fish crafted from cement, showcased at the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow, Russia. The artwork is the creation of Marina Ryndzyunskaya, a renowned Russian sculptor who later became Soviet. Born in Petrozavodsk, Karelia, Ryndzyunskaya moved to Astrakhan with her family and joined the Society of Russian Sculptors in 1926. Meetings for the organization were held in her studio, and she participated in an exhibition in Moscow to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the October Revolution in 1927. She showcased her work at the Venice Biennale in 1932. Several of Ryndzyunskaya's sculptures are part of the Tretyakov Gallery collection, including a statue of Mamlakat Nakhangova. Her style has been likened to that of Auguste Rodin and Antoine Bourdelle. At her passing, Ryndzyunskaya bequeathed many of her works to her hometown. This object is part of "Scan The World".
