This is a Custom Cutter and Stamp with Handle sporting the distinctive Girl Scouts emblem design. A Fresh Approach Utilizing an innovative technique, I crafted this customized Cutter and Stamp with a sleek handle emblazoned with the iconic Girl Scouts emblem. The Story Behind This Creation My Process Translating Design from SVG to SCAD: First, I used the Inkscape SVG to SCAD export plugin to create an SVG version of the esteemed Girl Scouts emblem. To create an individual design component that simply features a field with no emblems, I performed multiple rotations and fillings on the original SVG. With these generated files, my design journey began. Assembly Using OpenSCAD From this starting point, I constructed the emblem using SCAD files as reference material. Next, I employed subtraction to create the opposite form by differentiating the Girl Scouts emblem from the surrounding background. Next Step - Defining The Edges of My Stamp By displacing my base layer outward by a precise 1mm increment and subtracting it from the original form, I defined the boundary that outlines my cutting instrument. This approach was similarly applied to generate the grip handle's perimeter. In order to produce the sleek handle component that completes this tool, I drew upon my personal collection of customized OpenSCAD code blocks.
