Girl Online is a young adult novel written by Zoe Sugg under the pseudonym Zoella. The book was released on November 17, 2014, and has since been followed by two sequels, Girl Online: On Tour and Girl Online: Going Solo. In the novel, the protagonist Penny Porter creates an anonymous blog where she writes about her life online, using the username "GirlOnline". She keeps her identity hidden from her readers, but her anonymity is eventually exposed when a boy starts to suspect that she is a celebrity.
