Giraffes and Bunnies

Simple Wooden Toy, cutout on a MPCNC, those are DXF files to scale to your needs. Optional, you can make an axle and cut out some wheels or cut from stock (25mm). I believe that wooden toys are excellent for children as they get accustomed to this material early on, and later will use less plastics. If you wish to paint it, ensure you use paint suitable for children, as normal paint could contain solvents or pigments that are harmful in the early development stage. (DIN-EN 71-3) It's best to finish with beeswax or linseed oil. I keep mine natural, as it is intended for a baby who will chew on it anyway. If you use softer wood, it could potentially help when the child has pain from teething and the first teeth are breaking through. Be cautious of splinters! Round over all faces with sandpaper thoroughly and check the toy for splintered edges in this case...
