Gira Hue plate
thingiverse
I am designing a Philips Hue remote plate for use with Gira light switches, providing access to these devices in case of technological failure. After searching for what I needed, I found it necessary to design this solution on my own. It is designed to fit directly into the existing Gira wall plate and will accommodate both single and dual rocker switches. The adapter features a friction fit, but I recommend securing it with glue to prevent wobbling. Use the outer frame as a guide when applying adhesive to ensure proper alignment. To print this design, use supports and lay the model on its back at 0.2 layer height. My typical print time is approximately one hour and fifty minutes. Once you remove the remote plate, you will have easy access to the original rocker switches. I reused the magnets from the original Hue plates but suggest ordering new ones if desired to preserve the integrity of your original units. Regnets has remixed this design to fit the Gira 55 system, available here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3393897
