Giny Mk2 coreXY (HEVO / forkLIFT MOD) 2040 open frame / XYZ rail system
thingiverse
This is a work-in-progress version of the original design found here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3383140.\r\n\r\nThe primary distinction lies in its reliance on two aluminium angles and two aluminium sheets that demand machining, specifically cutting, drilling, and tapping operations. Additionally, the belt tensioner system is positioned at the steppers' side rather than the X carriage.\r\n\r\nThe aluminium angles serve to enhance the join stiffness between Y sliders and X rail. Meanwhile, the aluminium sheets are utilized to create a compact X carriage configuration.\r\n\r\nThe belt tensioner system is a modified version of the forkLIFT MK1 CoreXY Printer design found here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3072219. This updated design incorporates GT2 pulleys in place of bearings.\r\n\r\nWork In Progress - Updates Coming Soon
