Gingery Metal Lathe - Headstock

Headstock and Bearing Caps for David Gingery's Metal Lathe project. These patterns are an meant as an accompianment to David Gingery's book "Book 2 - The Metal Lathe" (ISBN:978-1-878087-01-0). This is the headstock for the lathe, with the bearing caps. This object has the draft angles already set above the parting line, and the caps also are set to match the draft angle from the headstock. Note that these are simply patterns for casting and it is impossible to complete the project without the instructions from the book, which may be purchased online through your favorite bookstore. Printing the whole headstock does require supports, however I have provided a split pattern, where you could print the divided parts, and use a 1/4"x1" peg to align the top and bottom pieces. If you don't have this size of peg, I have included an STL for the pegs. After printing, the two parts could assembled by aligning the peg holes with the pegs, and then glue prior to using it for your mold.
