Holiday Gingerbread House! Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator Mini Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: Normal Notes: Printed on both MakerBot Replicator Mini and LulzBot Taz 5. .thing files also included for MakerBot users. I've shelled the house pieces to save material, and they print easily without support. I had the roof oriented as shown on the build plate, open side on the plate, to minimize need for bridging. The icing pieces work best with a more dense infill if your 3D printer does not bridge well. For MakerBot users, I've included a .thing file for each filament color. The model shown measures 45 mm along the top edge of the roof. The rectangular prism bottom of the house is 40 mm along the longest edge. Post-Printing Assemble pieces using your favorite 3D printed-part glue. I prefer Tenax-7R (or Plastiweld or similar). Note that the bottom of the house does not fit into the roof, but just attaches to the bottom - use the overhang of the roof for attaching the icing pieces. The longest icing pieces attach to the very top of the roof; the next longest pieces to the long sides of the bottom of the roof, and the shortest pieces fit on the short sides of the bottom of the roof. Attach roof icing, ornaments, doors, and windows as desired.
