With the MakerBot Digitizer Desktop 3D Scanner, a model was captured. The first attempt can be viewed at this link: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:159870. In the second try, the object was painted with diluted tempera and dishwashing liquid before scanning in dark mode. All background light was concealed to showcase the model in a better manner.
