I designed a miniature figure using a base model from desktophero3d.com for one of my tabletop campaigns. I created two versions, one with and one without the pipe detail, as not all 28mm scale printers can handle intricate designs like this. Removing the supports on this piece is extremely delicate work, which is why I included both options. The original base model was crafted using desktophero3d.com's tools. To give it a steampunk aesthetic, I modified the design in Cura by incorporating elements from various Thingiverse models: The Toy Rocket model by JJBTEXAS (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:688335) added a unique touch to the miniature. Steampunk Handles designed by Caramellcube (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2730714) were incorporated to enhance the steampunk theme. Terminator Weapons, a work-in-progress model created by MatttKing (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3164311), was adapted to fit the miniature's design. The Pipe Prop model designed by Ebro002 (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2784848) was used to add a distinctive feature to the piece.
