I designed a custom holder for the gimbal protectors made by "mmontee" - check out the design on Thingiverse here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1747062. The holders are now securely in place! One note to add, I built this specifically for the standard short version of the protector, which stands at 26mm tall.
