Gimbal GoPro Mount Zhiyun Smooth Q

I designed this custom GoPro Mount for my Zhiyun Smooth Q3 Gimbal because the original mount was poorly designed and weighed too much, making the total weight with the GoPro almost 200g - exceeding the gimbal's maximum capacity. The outer shape of the mount fits snugly into the rubber on the gimbal's clamp, ensuring a secure fit. The holes on the back side, printed top-side down, are precision-crafted to accommodate 20 Euro-cent coins for leveling the camera in the gimbal. Proper leveling is crucial; otherwise, excessive power will be used to maintain horizontal orientation, potentially damaging the motors. To achieve optimal balance, I employed 10 coins and extended the arm halfway up. However, individual results may vary, and users must determine their own optimal configuration. To prevent coin dislodgement, a strip of tape was applied around the holes, despite the coins' snug fit. The screw holes are strategically designed to utilize the existing metal bar for camera attachment, as evident in the accompanying photos. Future updates may include a printable version of this clamp design.
