thingiverse
Redesign of the mounting plates to fit directly on the CX20/Nova body with GoPro Hero 3 / Xiaomi Yi / Mobius ActionCam cases. The cases accommodate different cameras for imaging and NDVI. Weighs around 170g for a complete gimbal without camera, built with three shells. Allows access to the bottom pins, including 12V, 5V, microUSB, and Aux. To order 3D printed parts, visit https://www.3dhubs.com/paris/hubs/mathieu-venot. You have two choices for printing: 1) Print two Top02.stl files to position the gimbal slightly forward on the quad. 2) Print one Top01.stl and one Top02.stl file to center the gimbal on the quad. The Top0x_Big.stl versions are designed for medium-large dampers. To adjust camera position, use ArmCurved.stl or ArmStraight.stl. These files help avoid seeing landing feet and propellers. Armx-4mm.stl versions are smaller, leaving more space between ground and camera. Adapt any camera case to the back of the brushless motor. The Mobius Case has not been tested, but Blaster1920's Xiaomi Case (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1317911) is recommended. Requirements include M2, M2.5, and M3 screws and bolts, four dampers, two 2208 brushless motors, a SimpleBGC Controller Board, and an IMU orientation sensor (MPU6050). Update made on February 2, 2016. Print settings: Use a MakerBot Replicator 1 printer with the following settings: - Printer Brand: MakerBot - Rafts: Yes - Supports: No - Resolution: 0.25mm - Infill: 25% - Platform Temperature: 40°C - Extruder Temperature: 220°C - Print Speed: 120-80mm/s - Infill Pattern: Diamond (Fast)
