Gimbal and Camera Guard for DJI Phantom 3 Standard

I just survived two brutal crashes, one of them a heart-stopping freefall from 30 meters up, spinning wildly before crashing straight onto the roof of a house and then splattering onto the ground. Fortunately, my trusty guard and extended foot (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2297143) performed flawlessly, protecting my drone, camera, and gimbal from serious damage. However, the guard and extended foot themselves took a beating, sustaining significant cracks. I managed to repair the older version by gluing the rods back together, but unfortunately, the carbon fiber rods were beyond reuse after that crash. The new modified version I uploaded uses three plastic strips to hold the rods in place, offering an alternative to gluing them. You can still opt for glue if you prefer, and it's still using 3mm carbon fiber rods inside the guard to add extra toughness.
