I present here our design of gimbal rotary featuring two models - one for 2-axis gimbals and another for 3-axis gimbals. The 2-axis model utilizes DYS brand motors, while the 3-axis model employs Storm32 motors. This latest version has been completely reworked with added reinforcements in place, specifically designed to accommodate cameras like Sj4000, xiaomi yi, vamso. We're also planning to develop future models compatible with Gpro and Firefly 6s cameras. Our team worked extensively with both ABS and PLA materials. The results were impressive - after applying acetone, the ABS model turned out exceptionally well. However, we encountered some challenges when working with PLA, as it proved slightly harder to achieve a smooth finish. To overcome this issue, we experimented with various line separations, ultimately settling on 0.1mm and 25% filling. Our findings suggest that even at 25% and 50% filling rates, the results were satisfactory. The most critical area of concern is where the anti-vibration mounts are positioned. Nevertheless, with proper care, this shouldn't pose a problem. This gimbal boasts self-locking capabilities, mirroring the original design's functionality. We've also implemented a central pass-through for wires, similar to the original model's mechanism. As a result, our gimbal offers rapid disassembly and re-attachment, making it an ideal choice for drones requiring easy gimbal swaps.
