In his new show, Bruvel shifts away from his typical medium of steel, and towards the nature-oriented and age-old medium of wood. This movement towards a more organic medium allows Bruvel to apply his hard edged style with a softer and more lively touch, transcending the darker focus of metal and letting the proverbial light in.
