GIK Acoustics Panel Ceiling Mount

Panel Model: GIK Acoustics 242, 24" x 48" Panel (62 cm x 122 cm) Weight: 8 lbs (3.62 kg) These brackets will allow you to securely attach your GIK Acoustics panel (or any similarly framed panel) to the ceiling with a gap of exactly 4 inches from the back of the panel. Instructions: 1. Attach each printed bracket to the panel as shown, using 1 1/4" construction screws that screw directly into the frame of the panel. 2. Drill a hole in your ceiling where you want the first bracket to go. Use a stud finder to avoid drilling into a stud and then install a 3/16th x 3" toggle bolt (Model #803732 / Internet #204273387 / Store SKU #125459 at Home Depot) through the hole. 3. Mark and drill your second hole exactly 23 inches apart from the first one, using a stud finder to verify there is no stud before drilling. 4. Thread the toggle bolts through the holes on the bracket and push them through the corresponding holes in the drywall ceiling. 5. Tighten the toggle bolts firmly but carefully, avoiding excessive lateral flexing of the bracket, as this can cause it to break due to the long panel providing significant leverage.
