Gihans A mutant humanoid Gila Monster miniature for 28mm games. Pre-supported and unsupported files included. Also includes a simple printable figure base. Gihans are a fearsome and highly territorial tribe of mutant lizard folk based off of Gila Monster stock. They are carnivorous and consider most other intelligent life in Terra AD to be valid food sources, though they have been known to associate with other lizard-like beings. Members of the Gihan tribe have found an Ancient movie theater that was playing old classic Giant Monster movies at the time of the Great Disaster, and the Gihans have used the fictional monsters from that source as the basis for their own religion. Dark-Platypus Studio specializes in making models for role-playing game enthusiasts. Our models are designed to be printed in 28mm scale, the perfect size for Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, or other games that are often played on a 1” grid. They are also designed to stand up to actual tabletop use: no ridiculous spindly bits that look awesome but are going to break the first time someone sneezes. Paintability and ease of assembly are also important concerns to our design aesthetic. I sculpted these gila monster humanoids for use in our Gen Con/Origins Mutant Crawl Classics adventure scenario ‘The Temple of Zilla', and they also appeared in our original Mutant Mayhem Minis kickstarter.
