GIGABYTE BRIX Pro case - parametric

I've got three motherboards without heatsink or case. To fix this issue, I made my own heatsink plate where some generic heatsinks can be mounted. For example: 90mm-PC-CPU-Cooler-2-Heatpipe-2-Cooling-Fan-Heatsink-for-LGA-775-1155-1156. You can find it on eBay at https://www.ebay.ie/itm/90mm-PC-CPU-Cooler-2-Heatpipe-2-Cooling-Fan-Heatsink-for-LGA-775-1155-1156/143387334073?hash=item21628d15b9:m:m1h48_c9tiwXHvud-wWtl-Q. There is plenty of space under the motherboard for thick HDDs, and room for a DC-DC regulator to drive the fan at a constant speed instead of load-based regulation. I'm trusting manual tweaked speed so I can do stress tests and find the best performance/noise ratio. If you're worried about using an original smart speed controller, it's still possible but will require doing some connector adapter since your external fan might not have the same connector. One of the fans is lowered down to create a draft over a few ferrite cores that get hot without cooling. This is why the top has such an odd shape - to channel the draft. In turn, this creates suction on the base of the case, which then creates a draft on the opposite side, so memory and HDD get cooled down as well. The top fits together without screws since it would be tricky in this setup. On the original case, the top is solid and the motherboard is screwed in from the bottom, but here the motherboard is screwed from the top into the solid bottom. You can use sticky tape or small dabs of glue to make the top side more solid so the two parts can be put together. There's a slight overhang on top parts, but it should be printable without any support. There's also a separate part that needs to be added on top of the power button just to give the power button perfect haptic feedback when the top part is inserted - the top part has a bigger button that touches this smaller button.
