Any settings should get you great results.</p> <p>Corners are rounded so no raft/brim is needed.</p> <p>The clasp and pages are on the same layer and will be the same color after a color change.</p> <h3> Post-Printing</h3> <p><strong>Live Hinge</strong></p> <p>There are a few things to note about the live hinge feature of this print.</p> <ol> <li>The cutaways will provide some relief</li> <li>Heat will allow the layers to form together better</li> <li>The hinge can only be used so many times<br/> Please take caution with the following steps:</li> </ol> <ul> <li>Heat the spine (live hinge) with a hair dryer, taking care to distribute the heat evenly.</li> <li>Spread the load evenly across the cutaways.</li> <li><p>When in doubt, add more heat.<br/> I find placing the cover between open and closed position provides a good compromise</p> <p>The 'clasp' should catch on the layer lines in the hole, adjust the cover accordingly. This makes little difference if the book is wrapped or placed on a bookshelf.</p> <p>Enjoy!</p> </li> </ul>
