Gideon Nav's Long Sword

This is my design for Gideon Nav's Long/Great Sword from Gideon the Ninth/the Locked Tomb series. I am absolutely in love with this series and Gideon herself, so i decided to make a design for her sword. The thing is, the sword is canonically 6' or around 180cm tall, so that is (literally) a tall order to fill. The model should be to scale for that, so if you want to make it a reasonable size, you need to scale it down. I'll try and update it as I make the model print ready and eventually print it as well. So far, it's only the full sword in one, with (hopefully, please check whether its properly installed) room for a 12mm, 160cm rod inside for stability. My last 3d printed sword when a single manga volume fell on it, so I'm a bit careful with this one. I'll update it as I break the model down into printable and hopefully halfway stable pieces. Enjoy! Update: So far there is room for the rod, at least in the individual pieces. Additionally, all the pieces fit really together right now, they do slot perfectly into each other. For the blade I will have to see whether the angle only is enough guidance to have them fit together well, but I need the second part of the blade for that. I am uploading the pieces as I am printing them. So far, I have most of the base of the sword down, it's just missing most blade still. As I am printing, I am finding problems with the files that I am fixing, so you can expect some changes. For example, I'm printing the second, lower part of the handle again, because I felt it was too small in comparison to the rest of the sword. Additionally, I will work over the file Blade I, because the middle part has some geometric oddities that I only noticed after printing and am not that fond of.
