I built an incredibly detailed Gibson Les Paul model guitar from scratch. I worked tirelessly to minimize the vertices, ensuring it would have a significantly smaller file size compared to other high-detail guitar models. Four image textures are seamlessly integrated into this model, allowing for precise reflection and texture changes as the view angle shifts. Inside the blend file, I left the subdivision modifier untouched for the guitar body, giving you complete control over the level of detail you want to achieve. If you prefer a lower polygon count, simply disable the modifier and you're good to go. The Gibson Les Paul is an iconic solid-body electric guitar that first hit the market in 1952, courtesy of the Gibson Guitar Corporation. Designed by Ted McCarty, John Huis, and their team, with input from and endorsement by guitarist Les Paul himself, this legendary instrument features a solid mahogany body paired with a carved maple top and a single cutaway. The neck is crafted from mahogany, topped with a rosewood fretboard, and equipped with two pickups that boast independent volume and tone controls, along with a stoptail bridge. Variations exist, but these core design elements remain unchanged. Initially offered with a gold finish and P-90 pickups in 1952, the Les Paul underwent significant changes in 1957, when humbucking pickups were introduced, and sunburst finishes became available in 1958. Although the 1958-1960 Les Paul is now one of the most recognizable electric guitars worldwide, it was initially considered a commercial failure due to low production and sales. In response, Gibson revamped the design for 1961, resulting in what's now known as the SG. The original single-cutaway, carved-top bodystyle was revived in 1968, paving the way for numerous versions and editions of the Les Paul since then. Alongside Fender's Telecaster and Stratocaster, it was one of the first mass-produced electric solid-body guitars, earning its place as a versatile instrument used across various music genres, including rock, country, pop, soul, rhythm and blues, blues, jazz, reggae, punk, and heavy metal.
