This is a photogrammetry scan of a Gibson Les Paul from 1968. Maps of relevant parts consist of Albedo, Roughness and Normalmaps. Metalmaps is also included on relevant parts. Cap on the head is included in the model even though sometimes missing on some of the images. Model is in quads and can be deformed and subdivided. Smudgemaps and noisemaps for metalparts and surfaces are not included due to copyright issues. Polycount of all parts together is around 170K. Additionally the coiled E,A,D strings are also supplied as an optional feature if close-ups are needed, but are heavy and weigh approx. 150K each so total polycount is then around 600K. Body and Neck maps are 8K. PickGuard and pickup caps are 2Ks. Separate top-body surface included which in the renderings are used as a top clearcoat layerin order to simplify material creation. Due to Gibson's design of the Volume/tone control knobs I applied a noise textured(bump) gold material on the inside surfaces of the knobs. If a transparent material is applied on the outside surfaces of the knob you get the effect shown in the renderings where also the hard modeled white notches and numbers are seen through the transparent plastic on a golden backsurface.
