Gibson Guitar Knob
thingiverse
My buddy's prized 1971 Gibson SG suffered a devastating blow, with a chunk of its electronics and control knobs brutally ripped off. I swiftly responded by utilizing my 3D printer to create a sturdy repair patch made from SainSmart wood filament. The resulting guitar looked remarkably restored in the accompanying photos. However, one critical detail remained: the missing control knob that had been lost during the chaos. Undeterred, I decided to craft a replacement using my 3D printing skills. A notable distinction between this new design and the actual knob is the absence of numbers encircling its rim. You can witness the 3D printed patched Gibson SG in action via a live video recording available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iJs2pvlNpP0&t=151s To catch the band's electrifying performance, simply skip to minute 49 of the video.
