I've designed this very first piece from scratch, learning from its numerous design flaws as I went along. Despite its imperfections, it does function and is useful. Please don't just download and print. The .SCAD file will require modifications based on the instrument's key and your printer's tolerance settings. My Scottish Smallpipes' base drone broke at a critical moment when the company that manufactured them was undergoing changes in ownership, making it impossible for me to order a replacement part. This reconstruction of the missing piece is based on meticulous measurements taken from the original.
