Giant Pushpin (no watermark)

Video: youtube.com/watch?v=GQeLSSU77TI I found an actual push pin and used it as a reference to create my own design. I made the model huge, and now it makes a great coat hanger. This is the Unmarked version of the file; you can download the free watermarked version from pinshape.com/items/251... Printer: M3D Micro Rafts: Yes Supports: It doesn't matter Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 10% I printed this model using PLA via Cura generated Gcode and Spooler on my M3D printer. If your printer is good at handling overhangs, try printing the model upside down with supports set to minimal to prevent them from being printed inside the hole. When printing with supports, they will form around the main handle because of a small 90-degree angle when printed upright and a taper on the main handle. This design is more complex than just two spheres cut in half and stuck onto a central cylinder. If you print it upright with supports, you may need to clean up the hole for the insert to fit depending on how well your printer keeps supports separated from the model. Post-Printing To assemble this model, print both pieces first. Then put a nail through the insert and attach the insert and nail to the main piece using epoxy or crazy glue. I designed this model using Fusion 360. I modeled it to size and then scaled it up by 600% (I actually scaled it by 300%, but that was too small, so I scaled it again by 200%).
