Giant Lego Classic Figure lamp
thingiverse
My Colossal Lego Figure Lamp! It stands at an impressive 48.5cm tall, a staggering 12 times larger than an original Lego figure. This is a reinvented version of the [Blank Minifig, Jumbo Snap-Together Version design created by Skimbal](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:170076). I've made some key modifications to bring this design to life: - I hollowed out the head to accommodate an e14 fitting for a lamp - I strengthened and redesigned the chest to fit snugly around the lamp - I added wedges to provide extra stability when standing - I inserted a tube into the hips to house wiring You can find the original files in Skimbal's project, but I've only provided the modified ones. Simply print them at three times their usual size, as suggested. Some notes on the chest: After printing and modifying the chest myself, I realized it needed some adjustments to fit better around the hips. I also added a hole for the e14 fitting, which can be a bit messy if you remove the head later on. If you want to add this feature, print with support to ensure a clean finish. Alternatively, you can drill a hole for the wire afterwards without support. As for the wedges: I've included two extra wedges that fit into the hips after attaching the legs. This will give your figure a bit more stability and prevent it from toppling over.
