Charles Washburn collected this massive ground sloth right humerus in 1921 from the Rio Negro Province of Argentina (VCU_3D_3328). The specimen was carefully 3D-scanned with a Go!Scan 50 at the Smithsonian Natural History Museum Department of Paleobiology on February 26, 2018. Alton Dooley of Western Science Center and Chris Widga from Grey Fossil Site greatly assisted in identifying this 3-D model, thanks to their expertise. Special recognition goes to Robert K.
