The Megalonyx jeffersonii fossil cast was meticulously digitized using a NextEngine Desktop 3D scanner at the Virginia Museum of Natural History, thanks to a specimen generously shared by their institution. The original artifact originates from the Carter Bog Site in Darke County, Ohio, and is proudly displayed with permission from the Dayton Society of Natural History.
