Giant Elk (remix)
thingiverse
One of my D&D players has a fondness for transforming into a massive Elk, using its powerful antlers to ram things into the ground with reckless abandon. All the elk models I discovered were a bit stiff and lacking in dynamic movement, so I downloaded several different ones and spent some time tinkering with them to create a more fluid mid-ram pose, infused with the grandeur of a megaloceros or Irish Elk. I'm completely new to 3D printing, so I have no idea how this model will print out. If you encounter any horrific printing issues, please let me know! I also attempted to break down the model into separate parts and pin them together for an easier print. The work is probably a bit rough around the edges (I'm sure the various pieces aren't optimally placed, and they'll need to be better aligned on the plate), but this was my first try. EDIT: The head proved to be a nightmare to print with just basic supports in place. So, I decided to separate the antlers into individual pieces. Still haven't had a chance to print it out myself yet! Special thanks to ggangemi for their excellent Male Moose Bust model, and sjpiper145 for their Stag and Moose II design.
