Giant Defy Cable Management

Giant Defy Cable Management

Finally fed up with horrible internal cable routing on my Giant Defy Advanced Pro 1 (2018) and proprietary cable guides that get ruined faster than the cables themselves. I decided to re-cable with complete cable outers (like my wife's Whyte Wessex - so much easier!). Std. Jagwire pro shift outers. These are the 3 custom parts. 1. to tidy up the entry into the head tube (one for treading the outers through, the other for clipping over the cables if you forget!). 2. To control the cables as they pass under the bottom bracket (in place of the stock guide) and 3. A grommet for the chain stay to keep the winter muck out. The version '5' file contains a plug that works better printed in TPU and has a retention flange. This is the version I am now using. If you are fitting the plug without re-cabling then cut it from inside towards the flat edge (which will sit against the head tube) to get it on the cable outers. Hope some one somewhere finds them useful. This object was made in Tinkercad. Edit it online https://www.tinkercad.com/things/7SMc2DnEwOy
