giant 7 segment display
thingiverse
Human Design in Tinkercad Another massive LED display, this one prints in two parts and can be glued together, I fix them using the plastic weld method with a rotary tool and scraps of filament inside, sometimes called stir welding, see more on YouTube. 24 x 5mm LEDs with plenty of space on the reverse for all solder connections and resistors. I used a 220-ohm resistor to run the LEDs, two in series using 9 volts. Easily visible from a cricket pitch, each 7-segment display is about 29cm high and 150cm wide and 10mm deep. Some support will be required as the object is hollow for soldering. Print Settings Printer: Giant 7-Segment Display Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: Printed at 0.2 Infill: 10%
