GI soldiers - WWII
thingiverse
I always equip my dioramas with figures to bring them to life naturally. It's dull to only use figures in fighting positions. There are many other postures that are far more fascinating for me, such as running, sitting, working, looking around, resting, and lying down. To design figures myself, I worked extensively with 3D animations. Now, I've completed the first figures. They have a scale of 1 to 72. I created one figure each with and without printer support. With my FDM printer, I printed the figures at a layer height of 0.1 mm. A SLA printer should yield an even better result. I'd love to receive photos from a SLA print. I'll add more figures to this set as needed for my dioramas. I'm also planning to create figure sets of other nations. The "GI soldier" by Greaser57 serves as the basis for this figure set. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1956230 If you require weapons and equipment for the figures, I recommend the "The Stowage Project" by TigerAce1045. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2485741
