HEY STEVE'S TOYS: CEASE AND DESIST FROM SELLING MY ORIGINAL WORK. I HAVE SUCCESSFULLY REPORTED YOU TO HASBRO FOR COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT. I have meticulously printed nearly all of Jabberwock's GI Joe models and created a fantastic display in my workroom. He consistently states that he designed them at 100% toy size, but advises printing them at 25% for optimal results. This suggestion is acceptable, except I want to print the models full-size! I have access to a printer and figure, why not? Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and Amazon's supply chain issues, I have been waiting an eternity for filament. I attempt to print in the filament color that matches my desired finished product color. I dislike painting, as it tends to chip off and appears less impressive than actual colored filament. My paint job is a disaster! I strongly recommend using the correct colors of filament and minimizing painting. The doors operate just like the original GI Joe model. The chassis can be printed with or without the shovel as a separate component. Chassis V1 features a hole and indent for the shovel, while V2 integrates the shovel into the chassis. I initially wanted the shovel to be a separate piece but was less successful at fitting it than desired. I did adjust the chassis so that the holding clip is improved, but I am too impatient to wait 24 hours to reprint the chassis just to verify if the shovel fits properly. I will soon post an assembly video online.
