GI Joe Triple T

GI Joe Triple T

The GI Joe Triple T (Tag Team Terminator) from the class of 1986 stands out for its sheer audacity. Sgt. Slaughter must have been born with nine lives and eardrums made of steel. Machine guns blaring right next to the driver's head, an open cockpit with no place to hide, and rocket exhaust nozzles pointed straight at the passengers make you wonder if Destro designed this vehicle as a Trojan Horse. Late 80's GI Joe is known for its outrageous designs. This model was created using the actual toy and six inch calipers. It's modeled in full scale but optimized for printing at 25%. If you print it outside of that range, your finished product may lack detail or have too much of it. The finished model weighs a mere 10 grams, costing me just 20 cents to produce. This file is free to download, and I want to make it clear that it's listed as non-commercial because it was copied from intellectual property that doesn't belong to me. Neither you nor I are allowed to sell physical copies of this 3-D model, but you're welcome to print one for your own personal use. 'Makes' are always appreciated. By now, you should be able to figure out how to print these models. Print the "show" side up whenever possible and add supports as needed. The guns and rockets are printed so their barrels and bodies are parallel to the build plate for extra strength. The tracks are printed with the wheels facing upwards to avoid messy support material. I'd like to thank Chris for lending me his original toy, which made this model more accurate and easier to create. This thing was actually pretty tough due to its weird angled surfaces. As always, I have immense respect and gratitude for past and present members of our Armed Forces. You are the "Real American Heroes" who make it possible for people like me to live in peace, freedom, and even create silly little toys like these.
