Remix of GI Joe Sky Hawk from SparkBibo https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4733947 and armored canopy from HooptieJ https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4885336. Added custom engines, missiles, and skids. Main body was cut to print on smaller printer (Ender 3), but back half was merged into 1 piece for 3 total main body parts. Used supports for body components, skids, and canopies only. I had no issues printing the missiles vertical as 1 piece with no supports. a larger size raft helps keep it stable. I printed the side wings vertical just as they are installed on the finished product. The top wing and seat were printed back side down so that no supports were needed. My first print with the original configuration had a lot of gaps between halves of the body (lifting from the build plate). This became my first time trying a modeling putty to fill the gaps which wasn’t very good, then I painted to cover up the color differences. More patience than I have would fix these issues. I used all PLA. Paramount military green has some slight variations in color which gives it a more camo/uneven look (along with only 5 or 10% fill). I liked this better than if the color was perfectly consistent. Different reels/lots were slightly darker or lighter also.
