GI Joe Generator Light Trailer
thingiverse
NOTE: This project requires a part to be ordered, please make sure the part is available before printing Details: -No supports required except for the hitch part of the chassis -Use a piece of filament for the door hinges -Some sanding of the hinge may be required for smooth operation -When the light is laying on top of the trailer the cord can be shoved into the hole so it is out of sight -The extra pieces of the light pole can be stored inside when not in use -The light I used is from Playmobile, the part number is 7445 and it was very easy to order from the Canadian Playmobile supplier. It cost $20 and $5 for shipping. https://www.playmobil.ca/en/floodlight/7445.html -The hitch is designed at standard GI Joe hitch height, it can be used with any GI Joe or Cobra vehicle with a hitch -I print all of my projects in grey PLA and then use spray paint for color As always, please let me know if there are any pieces that do not fit or mistakes I have made in the design. The pictures attached are of version 1, which needed some tweaking. The axle is moved back 5mm for better balance and the overall height was lowered by 5mm. Various changes had to be made to the design for these modifications to work but I have not printed the model.
